COLD STORAGE DOORS
PFI has been producing sliding and hinged doors for refrigeration field for over 45 years.
Thanks to the PFI doors it is possible to maintain and protect your products at suitable temperatures. Our product range has suitable alternatives which guarantee optimum insulation between + 80 ° C and -80 ° C.
If desired, our products can be equipped with multiple options.
Automation kit, locking system, pedestrian doors, inspection or opening windows.
BLADES
In the PFI stadard, the refrigeration and semi-insulating doors consist of a monolithic leaf, edged in anodized aluminum and injected under pressure with polyureate (PUR) at a density of 40/43 kg / m3.
The thickness of the doors varies from 40mm to 150mm depending on the application.
Upon request, the doors can be assembled with thermo-insulating panels with PIR (fire resistant) foam.
The standard coating of the doors is in galvanized and plasticized or pre-painted sheet metal. Several colors are available.
For applications in saline environments, the cladding can be in stainless steel. The door frames are available in extruded aluminum with thermal break and heating and in extruded shockproof PVC.
Furthermore, all sliding door models can be equipped with our special automation system.
MODELS
light serie
The Light series includes all doors, sliding and hinged, equipped as standard with an extruded PVC frame and Nylon hardware.
The doors of the Light series are suitable for commercial applications such as supermarkets, cash & carry, retail shops and laboratories.
heavy serie
The Heavy series includes all doors, sliding and hinged, equipped as standard with extruded anodized aluminum frame and AISI 304 stainless steel hardware.
Heavy series doors are suitable for industrial applications such as food industries, catering, logistics and food warehouses.
SPECIAL APPLICATION
Controlled atmosphere
PFI is a specialist in the production of sliding doors for controlled atmosphere.
The special closed cell foam rubber gaskets, together with the exclusive eccentric clamping system in stainless steel, guarantee perfect gas tightness, as well as high thermal insulation.
These doors are generally equipped with a glass inspection door.
The same can also be supplied with a frame for application on the cold room wall.
Meat rail passage
PFI produces two versions of sliding doors with meat rail passage.
The first version is called “swan neck” due to the cantilevered stainless steel structure.
The second, called “interrupted track”, is indicated in the case of a tilting interrupted track guideway.
The hinged doors with rail passage have a brush compartment for crossing the fixed rail or a double door for the overhead rail rail.
vertical sliding (guillotine)
In circumstances where the lateral sliding of the doors does not find sufficient space, the PFI proposes vertical sliding doors (guillotine).
As standard, they are equipped with a parachute safety system against any breakage of the springs and steel cables.
