Dock levelers, combined with sectional doors, are an obligatory solution, for companies that need to make the frequent loading and unloading operations.
They are the fastest and most efficient systems for loading and unloading operations.
It is possible to install a dock shelter, outside the structure, in order to isolate the warehose from outside, to protect the goods from the weather conditions during loading / unloading phases and to protect the health of the staff, as they are very effective even against current of air.
Our loading bays are the optimum solution to regulate the work flow and traffic of goods to save energy.
The dock shelters guarantee continuity to the cold chain. They are designed to isolate the vehicle and loading area from air permeability and dust. Depending on the needs and the type of use, three types of portal are used: standard, cushions and inflatable. The last two are particularly suitable for areas where thermal insulation is required.
Swinging lip hydraulic dock levelers are the most used type in loading and unloading operations.
The structure consists of lip, platform and frame which is made of RAL7016 painted galvanized steel sheet. The main platform is made from SD37 quality galvanized steel sheet with eye drop pattern of 6 / 7 mm thickness.
C and L shaped profiles are reinforced by blending into the main platform.
The lip is made from SD37 grade galvanized steel sheet with a eye drop pattern of 12 / 13mm thickness. It has a curved edge and is angled to better connect to the truck.
The length of the lip is 400mm. It performs the lifting and lowering operations of the main platform by using a single piston.
It is produced in accordance with EN 1398 norms.
Vertical working range; it can go 640 mm above the loading area, it can go 300 mm below the loading area.
Telescopic lip hydraulic dock levelers are the most suitable solution for places where high thermal insulation is required.
The structure consists of lip, platform and frame which is made of RAL7016 painted galvanized steel sheet.
The main platform is made from SD37 quality galvanized steel sheet with eye drop pattern of 8 / 10 mm thickness.
C and L shaped profiles are reinforced by blending into the main platform.
The lip is made from SD37 grade galvanized steel sheet with a eye drop pattern of 12 / 13mm thickness. It has a curved edge and is angled to better connect to the truck.
The length of the lip is 1000mm in telescopic dock levelers. It performs the lifting and lowering operations of the main platform by using a single piston.
It is produced in accordance with EN 1398 norms. Vertical working range; it can go 640 mm above the loading area, it can go 300 mm below the loading area.
PFI produces also hot-dip galvanized dock levelers. In order to guarantee excellent galvanisation on every detail of the dock leveler, we have developed a product that does not require any welding.
In fact, our hot-dip galvanized dock levelers are made up of a frame and a fully bolted platform.
The platform in turn – unlike the painted version – is formed by a 8mm thick eye drop steel plate.
Thanks to this feature, the galvanizing process is simpler and more effective.
In order to minimize transportion cost, it is possible to deliver this model fully disassembled.
Sectional doors open vertically and operate in the smallest possible space.
Gaskets on the door provide optimum thermal insulation and minimize air permeability.
Sectional doors are made of 40mm thickness (outside 0.5mm thick galvanized sheet) painted in RAL9002 or any other desired RAL color (0.5mm thick galvanized steel sheet) and 40-43 kg / m3 polyurethane injected (CFC-free) panels.
Apart from this, the hinges that connect the panels together, the rail set made of galvanized steel that allows it to work up and down, consists of the combination of the spring and drum systems connected to them.
Depending on the type of application, different sectional door models, manual or automatic working options and various color alternatives are available for each height.
The standard lift elevation is recommended when the height of the lintel is limited to 600mm.
The high lift elevation is recommended when, in order to reduce the overall dimensions of the rails, with a lintel over 600mm in height, the rails are shaped in order to make the most of the lintel height and bend 90° in the vicinity of the ceiling.
The vertical lift elevation is recommended when the height of the lintel is sufficient for the entire vertical sliding of the door avoiding curves to the ceiling.
In order to satisfy any requirement, PFI produces sectional doors with other types of elevations, more elaborate than those previously described.
